And so this is Christmas...

Well the time has come for me to close up shop and take a break from creating to spend some precious time with my family and friends over the Christmas holidays.

This year has really flown by so quickly. Behind my business there is 4 very special people in my life. My three children who inspire me everyday. My first born is now 7 and is really growing up to be such a lovely little girl. She has done really well in school this year and received an award for her achievements. I'm so proud of her. Then there is my little boy who is now 5 and graduated from preschool recently. He is very ready for big school next year. He has his backpack, school hat and uniform all ready to go. He has a great buddy in year 6 that he really loves so I have no doubt next year will be a great experience for him. Then we have my baby girl who is almost 2. Well isn't she a little firecracker! She might only be 2 but she definitely knows what she wants in life and usually gets it too! Last but certainly not least is my amazing and very supportive husband. He has always been there to support my business and ideas. Quite often I think I probably bore him to tears talking about ribbon and clay all the time! He's often seen at my markets helping out with my stall display or serving my customers. I'm really looking forward to next year just having one child at home. I'm looking forward to the quiet, not as much mess and having more time to get busy in the studio.

This year has been amazing for Chantilly Bowtique and I have you, my customers to thank for that. Some of you have been around from the beginning, over 5 years ago! Where on earth has the time gone? Some are new customers and some of my fans may have only just discovered me recently. I thank you all.

From my family to yours, I wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas with your families and friends and hope to see you all next year for another great year of Chantilly Bowtique!

Warm wishes, Chantelle xxx

Back to blogging

Hi everyone, well I'm back into the world of blogging and I'm enjoying my job more than ever at the moment. I've thrown myself into making Polymer Clay hair bows now and my customers are loving them. I especially love all of the custom orders I have been receiving. It really tests my creativity and also shows me what my customers really want. The problem is, everytime I make something new for a customer, I always need to make an extra because my daughter wants one too!

I just want to say a big thank you to my loyal customers for coming back to Chantilly Bowtique for your hair bow needs (or should I say 'wants!'). I get so much satisfaction when I see my little customer cuties out and about wearing my creations. I'm so passionate about my work and look forward to bringing you lots of new colourful accessories for your precious little girls.

After the birth of our third child, Madison Lily and a short break, I am so excited to be back in business again ! My website has had a revamp and we have some new and exciting bows and accessories in the works. It has been a very hectic and crazy time for our family with Holly starting school the same week that Maddie was born, and basically just getting used to a 5th member of the family. I tell you, the school day goes way too quick! Here's a pic of our newest addition modelling our Boutique Peony Beanies.
